As in years past we have partnered with the Texas Children’s Hospital to provide kids toys for the holidays. We ask you to bring a new toy or item to help support our toy drive. A hearty thank you for bringing a little joy through gifts for families seeking medical services for their little ones. If you bring a toy you will be entered to win a prize from some of our additional sponsors like Gooses Acre, Torchy's Taco, Hyatt, Hopdoddy, and others.

Tournament Details

TIME:

• Games start at 9am and are scheduled to finish by 3:30pm.
• Please arrive at 8:30am to check-in, drop off your toy and enter the raffle, find your team and warm-up.

PARK RULES:

• DO NOT Park in the Church Parking Lot
• Dogs must be on a leash and are allowed on grass fields only. Dogs are not allowed on turf fields.
• Please clean up your sidelines and throw trash away in trash cans provided
• Glass is not permitted on the fields

CAPTAINS:

Please report to the pavilion by 8:15am for a captain's meeting and bingo card. Captains are marked with an * on their teams roster

To all players:

Understanding that this is a hat tournament and we rely on your accurate self-rankings, we've done our best to create teams that will promote fun, competitive, and highly-spirited games. We hope that's what is provided on Saturday.

Tournament Rules

1. Games will follow current USAU Rules unless otherwise noted.

2. Round robin games (first 4 games) are 50 minutes with a 10 minute break in between games. Hard Cap Whistle will blow at 50 minutes in. Whistle blow at the top of the hour to signal start of new game (Final Games will be 60 minutes)

3. Gender Ratio Default is 6/1 Captains may agree to 5/2 or Gender Zones, If both captains team's captains do not agree, Then Default is followed. ( Captains check with your females on their preference)

4. Round robin games to 11, half time at 6. (Final Game to 13, half at 7)

5. Each team has 1 time out per game, half time is 3 minutes.

6. Seeding for finals will follow USAU Rules – 1. Win/loss, 2. Head to Head, 3. Multiple team ties determined by point differential of those teams involved in the tie only

7. This is a play at your own risk tourney, keep each other and yourself safe. There will not be any trainers there. The Woodlands Township, The Woodlands Ultimate Frisbee, Volunteers and Organizers are not liable for any injury, damage, lost or stolen property.

What to bring:

1. Black and White for Jersey, gray is neither and should be left at home

2. New (unwrapped) Toy, Please and Thank you.

3. Hydration and any preferred snacks

4. Keep an eye on weather and layer appropriately. The fields are turf and we will play rain or shine.

5. Super Positive Attitude: Ultimate is fun. Bring your best holiday spirit and play in this friendly, fun, competitive, and social hat tournament. It's for the children and it’s for fun.

What we have for you:

1. Water and Gatorade Refill Stations

2. Free Snacks - bananas, cuties, cookies, bagels, peanut butter, mini muffins, granola bars

3. Hot Chocolate by donation station - buy a cup (cash or Venmo) and fill it with some hot cocoa and a little holiday cheer 😉

4. Bingo Card Challenge is back this year – first team to complete the challenge win the prize(s)

5. Raffle winners for the toy drive will be announced during the break between round robin and championship play (2:30-3pm). Thank you for your donation to the kids.
